Romans 1:18-23 by Mike Winger
What does the Bible say about this issue and can we test it by looking at creation and conscience APART from the Bible or modern science? What expectation does God have for all humans regardless of where or when they are born? Are there really atheists?

Mike, Every time I read Romans 1:18, I can't help thinking that this is what Paul had in mind: The wrath of God is (now) revealed via the Cross, where God did not spare his own Son while he was bearing our sins. This is where man's eyes were (to be) opened to the intensity of God's answer to sin -- unsparing WRATH! Before the Cross, men easily assumed God to be only winking at sin; wrath was only a vague idea. (Have you ever read William R Newell's "Romans Verse by Verse"? -- a real eye-opener for me.) Thanks for your excellent ministry!
