If we are going to keep the main thing the main thing in our lives then we need to apply what Jesus said in Matthew 6:33. It has special instructions that should affect every area of our lives. We will examine the meaning and application of, “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added to you.”

Hi BT MW I have listened to almost all your podcasts & some YouTube’s and really enjoy your kind spirit and teaching. So if you look at the Hebrew in Genesis 1:1 and 2 you will see that the two go together and cannot be separated. Vs 1 is a backdrop for vs 2. So you see verses one and two cannot be separated and there’s no room for the gap theory and no Hebrew speaking Jewish scholar believes in the gap theory. Old earth thinking started with Darwinism. And on self defense - good question - I would just say that in the moment when somebody is in your home and they are stealing from you, you don’t know if they have a weapon and if they’re willing to kill you to get it which so many are willing to do these days so spur of the moment decision cannot involve thought process are you stealing for me or are you killing me sometimes you just can’t know that and split second decisions have to be made. I have never had to use a weapon on anyone But I do remember a story of a man who thought his neighbor was stealing from him and waited behind the couch saw him come in chased him out side the man ran down the stairs was on his front lawn and the man shot him. When you said in your answer that stuff is different from life I totally agree and thought of the story I believe the man got off for self-defense. But I do remember a story of a man who thought his neighbor was stealing from him and waited behind the couch saw him come in taste them out side the van ran down the stairs was on his front lawn and the man shot him. Pastor Mike, thank you for your Ministry. It is such a blessing. I am a student of Reformed Theology and you are helping me to understand even more thoroughly the doctrines of scripture. will you please do a teaching on the role of women in the church?
