Lesson Overview
The Bible actually has a lot to say about giving arguments for God and Christianity, and even for the Bible itself. I’m going to go over some of Sye Ten Bruggencate’s presuppositional apologetics and specifically answer several accusations like the idea that giving evidence puts God on trial and makes man the judge of God’s existence.
I’ll also look at the presup proof texts. It’s important to note that I am not against arguing for God using presuppositional arguments – I am here disagreeing with a particular view of apologetic methodology commonly called presuppositional apologetics as demonstrated in the teaching and practice of Sye Ten Bruggencate.
